Alltech NZ Ltd Grand Prix Show Jumping Show
Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th of October is the third of our summer Grand Prix jumping events, the Alltech NZ Ltd GP Show Jumping Show.
Enjoy a great weekend of jumping at this Woodhill Sands GP Show Jumping event. All the popular ESNZ series classes are back; Horse Grand Prix, Pony Grand Prix, Young Rider, Junior Rider, Pro Am Rider, and Amateur Rider Series. There are also the Woodhill Sands Horse and Pony Super Series classes, Horse and Pony Auckland Cup Qualifier rounds and classes for the Master League and Pony Futurity. This show also includes an exciting new national series, the TiES Futurity Series. This is open to Thoroughbreds who are registered with the New Zealand Thoroughbred Studbook and who haven't been registered with ESNZ prior to 1 August 2022 (i.e in their first or second year of ESNZ registration). Riders and horses must be ESNZ registered to participate in the TiES Futurity series. Horses are required to register in the TiES Futurity Series on EvoEvents – instructions will be provided on the ESNZ website and Facebook. Seven qualifiers will be held at 1m in both North and South Islands. The top 5 previously unqualified combinations from each class qualify for the TiES Futurity final in the same Island as that qualifying class. There is a $1200 total prize pool for each TiES Futurity qualifying class. This includes a $200 bonus for the Highest placed eligible Thoroughbred acquired directly from an NZTR Acknowledged Retrainer.
The TiES Futurity Series Finals will be held at 1.10m. North Island final to be held at Horse of the Year Show with a $9000 total prize pool for each TiES Futurity Final. This includes a $1000 bonus for the Highest placed eligible Thoroughbred acquired directly from an NZTR Acknowledged Retrainer.
