Woodhill Sands – Upcoming Events 

Woodhill Sands operates year round with shows across all disciplines and at all levels of riding from training days and grass roots events up to Grand Prix Show Jumping.

We are now back at Alert Level 1 and our events can look a lot more "normal".  It is important that all those visiting the venue continue to take these simple steps to help protect yourself and others:

  • Stay at home if you are sick

  • Keep track of where you have been - we have QR codes to scan at multiple locations around the venue as well as specific instructions sent to riders entered at each event

  • Wash your hands and cough or sneeze into your elbow

  • Maintain physical distancing

Outlined below are the upcoming events at Woodhill Sands. Out popular Spring Series booklet of events is now out.  Paper copies of these are also available at local feed stores and equestrian stores.  Check out this useful programme to help you plan your winter show schedule!!  With the current impacts from COVID-19 and resulting gathering restrictions we are having to update and modify events.  Please continue to check out our Facebook page and this website for updates.

Woodhill Sands Labour Weekend Mini ODE

Our Mini ODEs consist of simple dressage test a course of show jumps and 8 - 10 cross country fences.   No set time limit for Cross Country. All Classes will run in blackboard order, Each class will be given a set time to jump.

Pre Intro course will be a blend of show jumps and natural fences - x bar jumps, logs etc. and will amount to approx. 10 fences in total. Other Mini ODE levels will have a SJ course of approx. 10 efforts and between 9—13 efforts cross country.  Jumping rounds are not timed.
