Seeking a new Trustee for the Woodhill Sands Trust

The Woodhill Sands Trust is seeking new Trustees, to both increase the number of Trustees and to allow for succession planning. We welcome applications from members of our community who want to contribute to the development of equestrian sports and recreational riding in Auckland.

Important safety work on the trees at Woodhill Sands.

For some time we have been concerned about the condition of some of the trees at the venue.  While we understand riders love the shade they provide in summer and that the poplars provide a park like atmosphere at the venue, many of the trees were overgrown and had not had preventative trimming maintenance.

Winter Maintenance at Woodhill Sands

While the venue was unable to operate during the COVID-19 lock down, vital funding to support fixed operations costs (power, phone, rates, insurance etc) and winter repairs and maintenance at the venue.
