IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR RIDERS AT WOODHILL SANDS EVENTS UNDER LEVEL 2.5
MESSAGE TO ALL RIDERS, OFFICIALS AND VOLUNTEERS ATTENDING THE JUMPING SHOW AT WOODHILL SANDS, 19 & 20 SEPTEMBER.
Kia ora tātou venue users
This show is not a social gathering, it is a sporting event. Please do not attend unless you are willing to abide by the Alert level 2.5 restrictions relating to health measures and 2m physical distances for sports activities.
Woodhill Sands is responding to the requests from riders to host ESNZ competition events, and we need you all to play your part so that we can properly do so within Alert level guidelines.
At Level 2.5, our usual sport and recreation activities can be undertaken if they can be done safely. Familiarise yourselves with how this can be achieved at a venue like Woodhill Sands which has multiple defined spaces, so that you can play your part:

We have held smaller events at Woodhill Sands for the last 2 weekends and our team is confident that this show can go ahead in a way that is safe for all participants, be they riders, officials or volunteers. Please do not let us and everyone else at the event down by failing to comply with our safety measures.
If you have any cold or flu symptoms please stay at home, contact your Doctor or Healthline and get tested.
Remember to be considerate and practice good hygiene. Maintain a 2m physical distance from other people at the venue and as always, wash your hands and cough or sneeze into your elbow. There are hand sanitizer stations at the main gate, gates to each ring, wash bay, kiosk and office.
We strongly recommend that all people wear masks at Woodhill Sands except when they are mounted on horses. This includes during the event and after completion of the day’s competition.
Record your comings and goings from the venue for contact tracing purposes. There are QR codes at the gate and at multiple locations around the venue. Those entered will also receive a text message. Please reply to it when you arrive and leave.
Stay in your bubbles and keep safe. Play your part in keeping our sport and venue Covid-free.
Kia pai tō mutunga wiki. Have a good weekend.
