Grand Prix Show Jumping Summer Series
In addition to all the great ESNZ series running at our shows, Woodhill Sands has 4 of its own series running over the Summer months.
Masters League Series - Runs from August 2023 - February 2024 (series conditions can be viewed here).
This class is open to riders 40years and over as at 1 August 2023 who haven't placed at 1.10m or over in the current or previous season.
Points awarded throughout season at Woodhill Sands GP SJ Shows. Classes for Aug—Dec shows will run at 90 - 95cm with classes set at 95cm -1.00m during January & February.
Points awarded to combinations of horse and rider: 1st to 6th placegetters as follows: 1st = 10, 2nd = 8, 3rd = 6, 4th = 4, 5th = 2, 6th = 1.
Double Points will be awarded at the Woodhill Sands January GP SJ show and the February Woodhill Sands Auckland SJ Champs Show 2024.
Points will be award 1st – 6th placegetters as follows: 1st = 20, 2nd = 16, 3rd = 12, 4th = 8, 5th = 4, 6th = 2
Points will not be awarded to any combinations who have 12 faults or more in the first round
Combination with most points will be the overall winner. Cover for the series winner and Prizes for 1st to 4th.
Pony Futurity Series - Runs from August 2023 - February 2024 (series conditions can be viewed here).
Class is open to combinations not jumping over 95cm in the current or previous season. Class is open to combinations where the rider is under 17years as at 1st August 2023.
Points awarded to combinations of horse and rider: 1st to 6th placegetters as follows: 1st = 10, 2nd = 8, 3rd = 6, 4th = 4, 5th = 2, 6th = 1.

This series is being run across multiple shows (Woodhill Sands, Auckland SJ, Waitemata SJ, Brookby and Northland SJ)
The final will be at the Woodhill Sands Auckland SJ Champs in February 2024.
