Following on from our Community Meeting in October we're holding the Save our Sands Action Squad meeting Wednesday 29th of January at the Kumeu Cricket Club 6.30pm 

We need people to help us develop and deliver fundraising the initiatives raised at our community meeting to protect the future of Woodhill Sands and your rider owned facility.

Please come along to our first get together on Wednesday 8th of January at the Kumeu Cricket Club 6.30pm

We had a great turn out to our Community Meeting in October and were delighted with the support. We had a fantastic "Support our Sands" show in December but there is still more work to do to help us cover costs over the remainder of summer and to put together a financial buffer to get us through the winter months where we have smaller shows.

We got lots of excellent ideas at the community meeting and now need a team of people to help develop these and get the word out about these and drive the ideas. Many hands make light work and we can find ways for everyone who is keen to contribute no matter where you are based or how much time you can offer.

Our small team is doing everything we can, but we need more help to get extra fundraising ideas up and running. Without this, we risk losing the venue that so many in our community rely on to ride and compete.

We remain deeply grateful for the ongoing support of our community and stakeholders as we navigate these challenges together. Thank you for helping us ensure Woodhill Sands remains a vibrant and accessible venue for all.
